VSCLI’s surgical specialists are experienced in taking biopsies and surgically removing malignant tumors and growths, which can be very beneficial when done soon enough, so that our patients can lead long and healthy lives.
Emergency Care

Beginning in October 2024, VSCLI will offer 24-hour emergency & critical care 365 days a year to all clients, with or without a veterinary referral from the patients’ primary veterinarian. Needs emergency care, please contact VSCLI.

Welcome to Veterinary Surgical Center of Long Island (“VSCLI”). VSCLI was founded in 2024 by Dr. Margaret Puccio and Theresa Puccio, sisters who are native to Huntington, New York. The Puccio sisters are committed to VSCLI’s goal to be the premier small animal veterinary surgical referral and emergency hospital on the east coast. Our 10,000 square foot hospital was built in 2024 and is equipped with the very best state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that is available to the medical community.
