For our patients who are coming to VSCLI for an emergency, our Emergency Room is ready to help. VSCLI staff is experienced in triage and can treat the most serious of cases. Upon arrival to our Emergency Room, VSCLI will stabilize, treat, and monitor patients. Patient care and client satisfaction are our top priorities. We understand each pet is accompanied by a concerned owner, and we take the time to comfort both of you.
Our emergency veterinarians utilizes the most current diagnostic and surgical technology to evaluate and stabilize patients. VSCLI’s hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostics, such as Digital Radiology, MRI, CT, and ultrasound. Emergency surgery can be performed any time of the day or night.
If you think your pet needs emergency care, please contact VSCLI. Our experienced triage team of doctors and support staff will assess the patient’s needs and will communicate the patient’s needs and medical or surgical options in a timely manner. Prior to any veterinary surgery services, VSCLI’s team will communicate an estimate of potential fees. VSCLI will also communicate with the patient’s primary veterinarian and provide medical updates to them.
In addition to VSCLI’s advanced diagnostic equipment in-house, we have a centralized 24-hour intensive care unit (ICU) that is continuously monitored by emergency veterinarians, Licensed technicians, and assistants. Patients in our care in our ICU will be continually monitored by VSCLI’s ICU staff, who will perform electrocardiography, blood pressure monitoring, and pulse oximetry (blood oxygen saturation). In addition, we have a complete in-house laboratory and can monitor a patient’s bloodwork quickly if needed.
