On the day of your first appointment, please arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to check in and fill out two forms:

A member of our surgical team will bring you and your pet into an exam room and will take vitals and medical history. A specialty surgeon will join and will review and discuss your pet’s history, followed by an examination of your pet.
Once the examination is complete, our veterinary specialist will provide you with a diagnosis and treatment options. Patients at Veterinary Surgical Center of Long Island can expect the highest level of care and attention from our dedicated team. From routine surgeries to complex emergencies, every pet receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs. You will be given pre-operative instructions to follow on surgery day. You can ask any questions that you would like, and we will take the time to answer all of your questions.
